Who we are

TubePilot Companion (“we”, “us”) provides AI-assisted content planning tools for YouTube creators. Contact us at Tishasamantha@yahoo.co.uk.

Data we collect

• Account data: email address, display name and authentication identifiers.
• Content you create: video ideas, calendar entries, SEO drafts and thumbnail prompts.
• YouTube channel data (only if you connect your channel): channel ID, title, public statistics and video metadata, retrieved via the YouTube Data API.
• Usage data: prompt counts, feature usage and tool activity logs used to enforce plan limits.
• Billing data: subscription status and identifiers from our payment processor.

How we use it

To operate your account, generate AI recommendations, personalise suggestions using your channel metrics, enforce plan quotas, process subscriptions and improve reliability. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising profiling.

YouTube API Services

Connecting your channel uses YouTube API Services. By using that feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We store an encrypted refresh token so we can refresh channel metrics. You can revoke access at any time from your channel settings in the app or via Google security settings. Revoking deletes the stored token and cached channel metrics.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details; Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

AI processing

Prompts and the content you generate are sent to our AI provider to produce results. They are not used to train third-party models.

Storage, retention and security

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security so each account can only read its own rows. Sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request.

Your rights

You can export or permanently delete all of your data from the Account page inside the app, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your profile, ideas, calendar entries, channel connection and usage records.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We will update this page and revise the date above when this policy changes materially.
